One of our users wrote in regarding spell checking in Firefox, our favorite web browser. By default, Firefox only spell checks textareas, and if you want it to check all fields – such as the daily entry notes – simply follow these steps:

  1. In the browser address bar, type: ‘about:config’
  2. Look for ‘layout.spellcheckDefault’
  3. The value you see should be ‘1’, change it to ‘2’
  4. Restart Firefox

That’s it – now you have spell checking for all fields in your web browser. Thanks Terry!
